Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

WHEN CHRONIC ILLNESS ROCKS A MARRIAGE
In today’s show, Keith shares the difficulties of walking through a chronic illness with a spouse.
Friend, Keith and I could write a book titled, “What Not to do When Diagnosed with a Chronic Illness.” To say we did everything wrong, is an understatement.
Keith shares his anger and how even when he knew I couldn’t control the migraines, he still harbored a lot of resentment.
His biggest source of stress was regarding our finances. He walked around in a constant state of worry over how we’d pay our bills.
So after I had kept our bleak financial situation from him, we were forced to come together and make some big cuts in our budget which completely turned the tables for us.
Keith and I share when we’d let each other down and how although we wanted the same thing, we were walking on two very different paths to get there.
It’s been a long, difficult road for us, but we can look back and see how God brought us through it. We’ve learned that when we are obedient to God’s will for us, He will show up and redeem, renew and restore.
So grab your favorite beverage, that basket of clothes that needs folding, or turn up the volume on your morning commute and listen to this week’s episode, When Chronic Illness Rocks a Marriage.
