The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted him, so I received help. My heart is triumphant; I give thanks to him with my song.

Trusting God Through Chronic Illness
In today’s show, I share my difficult journey through a chronic illness and the pain and hurt it left in its path.
I discuss how my husband and I were not on the same page and couldn’t agree on the best way to walk it out. Instead of working together to make this new life work, we wound up on opposite sides of the road, fighting against each other.
I no longer recognized the person I’d become and felt the searing pain of being a person that could no longer be relied on.
I open up about my rebellion against God when it came to our finances, how I chose to deal with it and what it looks like since He forced me to take action and come together as husband and wife. (If only I’d listened to God sooner!)
My walk through this chronic illness has been anything but perfect, but through it all, I’ve learned to lean into God and trust Him to supply my every emotional and physical need.
And that’s when I finally began to feel a peace that no circumstance could ever take away!
Join Timberley and I as we talk about the hard lessons in learning how to trust and serve God through a chronic illness.

The Bible tells us, if we are faithful with little, He will trust us with much. That means, honoring God with our finances doesn’t start when we have more money. It begins right now.
The Family Budget Binder is designed to help you manage what you already have, so you can PAY your bills and HONOR God with your finances.
