The Super Bowl is right around the corner and Pinterest is swarming with some great party ideas.
I love planning a party and all the details that go into it, so I got together with my friend, Diona, from Mommy Ways to Win and we’ve put together some fun and easy ways to throw a Super Bowl Party.
And what’s a party without a Photo Booth?
All those fun party pictures to help you remember your party for years to come! Now that DIY Photo Booths are showing up at every party, I just knew you needed a free SVG cut file for your Football Photo Booth Props.

TUTORIAL
- Print off the files (they have already been sized for you, but feel free to make changes as you wish). If you need more help, be sure to check out How to Print and Cut Using Your Silhouette Cameo.
- Cut the files on the Silhouette ***See notes below for cutting the thought bubbles***
- Tape the skewers (pointed edge against the paper) onto the cardstock
- Pose for some fun pictures
Cutting the thought bubbles
- Highlight the entire thought bubble.
- Right-click and select “ungroup.”
- Highlight the words within the bubble and click “no cut” in the cut window.
- Highlight the bubble again.
- Right-click and select “release compound path.” At this point, the bubble will turn black.
- Highlight the black bubble and select “cut edge” in the cut window.
- Cut
- After you’re done cutting, and ready to print and cut something else, just click on the “undo arrow” in the top bar until you get back to the original design.
That was insanely easy, right? Now set them aside and mark those off your Super Bowl Party To-Do list!

Silhouette users, if you need more help using your crafty little machine, I highly recommend Melissa Viscount’s books (from Silhouette School Blog). This is the book that taught me everything I know about my machine and it’s something I refer back to often.

Thanks for posting the tutorial. I sure don’t know what I’m doing wrong but it’s telling me the cut files are no longer available. Should I just try with something else? Never done this before!
Hi, Teri! Thanks for reaching out. You should be able to click on the “here” and “here” and they will automatically download. They are working on my end, but I’m going to go ahead and e-mail them to you, just to be safe.
I thought I followed your print and cut directions to the letter. Apparently I’m missing something. I’m trying to cut the outline of Thomas the Train after having printed it. I used the registration marks and, as I said, followed your instructions to the letter but when I go to cut, a red cut box surrounds the image and will only cut that. My first attempt was to select “No Cut” but that is literally what happened. What do I need to do to get the outline of my image cut? Very frustrated…
Hi, Mary! Thanks for reaching out. If you right click and ungroup, can you then delete the box? Give that a try and then let me know what happens.
Thank you for your response. I started from the beginning of the tutorial just to look at it again with fresh eyes (and brain). Group/Ungroup is not an option. I just get a red box around my image. I tried to trace and got the proper red line around my image but when I went to cut I got a registration mark error. This should be easy and quite frankly it’s not. I’ve never been so frustrated with this machine.
I know what you mean, Mary! Sometimes I’m ready to throw my machine out the window! Is your registration mark error happening when you try to cut and the machine won’t recognize the registration marks? If this is the case, make sure that you didn’t accidentally smudge the mark after you printed it (ask me how I know about that!). Also, if it’s in a dark room, the Silhouette doesn’t always read the marks correctly. There have been times that I’ve had to pull the image off my mat, reposition it and then hit cut again. Let me know if any of these things work.
