OVERCOMING ADDICTION
In today’s show, Tina shares her journey through alcoholism and the fight to save her family and her marriage.
She takes us back to growing up in California, learning that her father died from suicide and the affect it had on her life.
Tina shares the brokenness of losing her job and marriage to alcoholism. I love the incredible story of how God had put someone in her life years earlier who became the turning point in her recovery.
Friend, as difficult as Tina’s story is, it’s also a beautiful story of redemption and forgiveness. It’s a story that shows how even in the brokenness, God will move mountains when we choose to follow where He leads.
Tina tells us that she had God-sized expectations for her husband and how everything changed when she discovered that no one but God could ever fulfill them.
Although the alcoholism destroyed her marriage, Tina found that when she finally surrendered to God, He performed a true miracle out of the hardest, most painful time in her life.
This episode is one you’re not going to miss.
