Do you have a daily struggle with everything the enemy throws at you? Are you believing his lies? Is he getting the upper hand in your life? Are you tired, exhausted, and feeling downright defeated?
The only way for you to take back your life is by putting on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesians 6:11 NIV)
Today, my friend Diona, from Mommy Ways to Win, is here to show us just how important it is to not let the enemy into our lives and rob us of the beautiful life God has created for us.
Welcome, Diona. . .
Have you been robbed?
Imagine coming home, a place where you feel safe and secure, only to find it’s been ransacked. While you look around your house at the disarray of your belongings, you know instantly that you’ve been robbed.
What are your clues?
You can see with your eyes that things are missing. You know the house wasn’t left in chaos. Drawers were in their dressers, cabinets were closed. You left your place of tranquility and someone has invaded your space. It’s scary!
You immediately call for help. The perpetrator must be held accountable. Someone must know how to help you, right?
There’s no question that you would call the authorities. You want your stuff back. Let’s get the criminal off the streets now. It’s your property, so it’s up to you to press the charges.
I’ve got some horrifying news for many of you…
You are being robbed every single day. There is an enemy out there that wants to violate your peace and tranquility. He has one agenda and that is to take and kill everything you hold dear and love in your life.
Just like a skilled thief, he goes through your thoughts, stealing your joy and happiness. The robber takes whatever he thinks is valuable and leaves you with a void.
Time is on the enemy’s side. He’s had lots of practice over thousands of years. He knows how humans think, act and love. The only pleasure he can enjoy is when he steals it from God’s children.
Surprised?
The enemy is the ultimate thief. He normally gets away with taking what we cannot afford to give.
To deny your susceptibility is the same as opening your front door to the enemy.
You didn’t ask for this constant battle that is being waged against you. You have no choice because the enemy is relentless in his attempt on your life and the lives of your families.
There is good news. You do not have to face the struggle alone. The battlefield you wake up on every single day can be leveled for you.
The enemy knows this, so he whispers lies to you. The lies fill your ears and head, making it hard to hear anything else.
Resist! The demon will talk sweetly with an evil plan for you. Instead, raise your eyes and hands to the Lord.
Call on the one true authority
Call the one true authority, God the Almighty, to deliver you from the grasp of the enemy.
Christ is greater than all that is behind hell’s gates, but to be saved from your struggle, you must ask Him…the one true God.
All you have to do is ask God for His help. He wants you to need Him.
The path to Christ is a hard road and to conquer the enemy you must take your promised Eternity seriously by being obedient in His will.
Devote yourselves to always ask for God‘s guidance and forgiveness. By passionately pursuing Christ, the enemy will be defeated again. The enemy will have no power over you because Jesus Christ our Savior has a power that is unequaled. It is through Him that you will be saved.
Wrapping Up
Please, give your troubles to God. Ask for His guidance and that His will be done. He loves you and wants you to return His love to Him. He is the authority over all creation.
To put this in perspective for you, Ephesians 6:12 tells us,
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly rounds. NIV
This means you’re fighting struggles that are not of this world and you cannot win alone. God wants you to reach for Him, to feel His love and compassion for you as He strikes down the enemy.
You have nothing to fear because Christ has already defeated the enemy. Listen to God’s voice for strength and accountability. Embrace the battle and know God is on your side. Feel His love for you, ask for His help.

I loved reading this! Thank you for this reminder, I love the analogy of actually being robbed.
Hi Elizebeth! Thanks for stopping by the blog and taking the time to reach out. I’m so glad you liked this post. Diona did a great job with the analogy for sure and honestly, I hadn’t thought about it that way at all. However, it’s so true. We allow the enemy to rob us every day.
I’m glad this post blessed you! Thanks again!
