Finding god in the grief
In today’s episode, Abby takes us back to 2006 and the night she lost her family in a fatal car crash. She shares her struggles of putting one foot in front of the other, and the fight to survive in the days and months following the accident.
Abby tells us how she wound up on a season of The Biggest Loser and how God used that platform to show His glory.
She shares how God wooed her back to Him after a season of rebellion and what it looked like for her to take that journey and discover the Bible from an entirely new perspective.
You’re going to love my conversation with Abby. Her love for Jesus is contagious and she shares biblical wisdom that you’re not going to want to miss!
In fact, you may want to grab a pen and paper and take some notes!

In episode #3 of A Faithful God Podcast, I sit down with a longtime friend, as we talk about one of the hardest stories I’ve ever heard.
My guest shares how four years ago, she went in for a routine surgical procedure that almost cost her her life.
She woke up on the table twice, and went without oxygen for eleven total minutes, making her the only known survivor in the world to have gone without oxygen for that long.
She was discharged with no knowledge of going without oxygen and was left to fend for herself. She had no idea why she could no longer perform everyday tasks and felt as if there were “holes” in her brain that she just couldn’t fix.
My friend’s story is a hard one, but I love her honesty. She tells us she was mad at God at the time, but can now see that God had a hand in it all along.
