Looking for the best self care Christmas gifts for your holiday list this year? Look no further because I've got a list of 61 ideas that's sure to please the women in your life!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that self-care plays an important role in mental health. Whether you have a chronic illness or just looking for a great gift for your bestie, I’ve put together a list of 61 of the best self-care Christmas gifts for your loved ones this year.
As women, we wear many hats, and trying to keep up with it all can be a challenge, to say the least. But, since we can’t pour from an empty cup, the best way to accomplish that never-ending to-do list is by taking care of our mental health first.
One thing I teach in JumpStart Online Bible Study is that in order to live our best life, we have to live within the priorities of God.
God > Self-Care > Spouse > Family > Ministry > Work
And when we take care of ourselves first, we then have the energy to pour into the ones we love.
So whether you’re making self-care gift baskets, looking for the perfect stocking stuffer, or a special gift to pamper the new mom, I’ve put together a list of my favorite self-care gifts for your holiday list this year.
To help you find what you’re looking for, I put this gift guide into five categories.
- Self Care with God
- Pampering and Wellness Gifts
- For Difficult Times
- Bedtime Self Care
- Extra Self Care Gifts

Self-Care with God
As I mentioned above, living within the priorities of God is important to me. Therefore, my first priority for self-care is always to connect with God first by getting into the Bible, reading a good devotional, or sitting quietly with my prayer journal.
Here’s a list of my favorite gifts that keep me grounded in the truth of God.
1. Finding Peace in the Mess 30-Day Devotional
This 30-day devotional and prayer journal was written with your hectic schedule in mind, to help readers discover that it’s possible to have peace and pain at the very same time. With easy-to-digest devotions, you’ll grow closer to God in just minutes a day.
2. The Book of Mysteries
This is my favorite devotional of all time! In fact, I go back to it again and again when I’m studying scripture. It’s taught me so much about the Bible by giving a deeper understanding of the context of each Bible verse.
4. Life Application Study Bible
This is, by far, my favorite Bible. I love the study notes that are included, which give a deeper understanding of the context of different verses.

8. Truth Cards by Emily Lex
There’s nothing like having scripture and Christian affirmations to help us stand on the word of God. These beautiful truth cards are a perfect addition to your desk, kitchen counter and anywhere you need reminders of God’s truth.
I can’t think of a more thoughtful gift for your loved one. A gift basket with a few items from this devotional list to show your loved one that you know how important God is in their life.
I have no doubt this gift will be one they’ll cherish for years to come.
Pampering Wellness Gifts
Nothing beats the winter blues better than spending an evening pampering yourself with a warm bath, good book, and a delicious glass of wine. Throw together a gift box with several items from the list below and you’re sure to make every night a special occasion for your loved one.
Fair warning: If you’re taking this to a gift exchange, your gift will be the envy of the party!
9. Essential OIL DIFFUSER
I use my diffuser every single day! I love coming into my office with the smell of clove wafting through the air. It always perks me up during those afternoon lulls.
Shower Steamers
18. Hand cream
I was given this hand cream in a little self-care package by my bestie, and I’ve used it ever since. It’s a soothing cream that doesn’t leave your hands greasy. Grab this 3-pack and separate them to fill several, thoughtful gift baskets this Christmas.
23. Candle
Since I suffer from migraines, I have to be mindful of the scents I use. However, this Eucalyptus, Spearmint candle is perfect for relieving stress without the debilitating side effects other fragrances can cause.
24. skincare
Confidence in a Cream is hands down, my favorite moisturizer. And that’s saying a lot because I’ve tried them all. (Well, it feels like it anyway.
25. facial blaster & oil kit
I started using a facia blaster several years ago to help relieve the pain from my fibromyalgia and migraines. It’s made a world of difference and is helping to ease flare-ups.
26. Dry brush
Using a dry brush on a regular basis will keep your blood flowing and help to drain the impurities from the lymphatic system. It’s a game-changer when it comes to your self-care routine.
27. Lange scalp massager
About a year ago, I noticed that my hair was getting thin, so I grabbed this Lange Scalp Massager and use it every time I shampoo. I’m getting some new growth and it feels so good!
For the Difficult Times
I learned the hard way what happens when you camp out in the pain of a chronic illness, so on those days when I’m not in the midst of a migraine, but still not feeling very well, I’ll take a quick shower, put on a little make-up and slip into some of my comfy loungers.
There’s nothing like a shower and a little make-up to make us feel a little better, both mentally and physically.
28. it cosmetics
I started using IT Cosmetics several years ago and never looked back. They’re my favorite beauty products, and the coverage is incredible. It’s no wonder everyone raves about this incredible company. I especially love their CC Cream for covering up blemishes, because this girl is showing her years!
30. slippers
Although you can pick up a cute pair of slippers just about anywhere, my favorite will always be Ugg slippers. You can’t beat the comfort and coziness of them and they last forever!
Hot Cherry Pillows
BEDTIME SELF-CARE
The Sleep Foundation recommends 7-9 hours of sleep for a healthy adult every night. But even so, it can be hard to both, fall asleep and stay asleep at night. So I put together a list of my favorite sleep aids for a better night’s sleep.
Extra Self Care Gifts
And finally, I’ve included a handful of extra great self-care goodies to include in your gift-giving list this year.
48. chai
Although I’ve never been a coffee or tea drinker, I can’t start my day without a scrumptious cup of chai.
50. ember coffee mug
No need to keep reheating your cup of joe. Get the perfect temperature all day long!
51. earring of the month club
Show your loved one how much you care with the Earring of the Month Club. Each month (for as long as you want) an oh-so-cute pair of earrings will show up at their front door. It’s like giving a gift over and over again!
And my favorite thing about these earrings is that they are fair-trade products!
“Each month we partner with fair trade, faith groups across the globe to bring you 3-4 unique, high quality items. These artisan groups represent women in hard situations, including those rescued from human trafficking and those who live in extreme poverty, who are in need of work in order to support themselves and their families. Each box also includes a story booklet with descriptions of the items in your box and beautiful stories of our artisans and how you have impacted their lives.” Fair Trade Friday
52. fair-trade box
Another great gift box from our friends over at Fair-Trade! I mean who wouldn’t get a pick-me-up after finding this on their doorstep?
53. what a crock
I don’t know about you, but on the days I’m dragging, nothing makes me happier than realizing dinner has already been taken care of. I let out a sigh of relief knowing that all I have to do is cut open a bag from What A Crock, toss it in the crockpot and then sit down to dinner when it’s ready.
Especially without the hassle of messing up the kitchen!
56. amazon alexa
I love my Amazon Alexa! Besides saving my sanity by keeping all my lists straight, I also love that in the middle of the day, when I need that pick me up, I can say, “Alexa, play my FOI Hope & Inspiration on Spotify.”
Listening to my favorite worship songs helps me stop, take a deep breath, and set my mind on God. It quickly clears out the cobwebs and His always peace fills me from within.
And as an added bonus, I never miss a meeting because Alexa reminds me when they are!
57. water bottle
Of course, when we’re talking about self-care, we can’t forget the importance of hydration, so be sure to include a cute water bottle in your gift basket.
