Day 1

You saw who you created me to be beforeI became me! BeforeI’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.

Psalm 139:16 tpt

How the challenge works

  • You'll receive a new verse in your inbox every morning. (The first verse arrives immediately upon signing up.)
  • Use your current Bible to write down the verse of the day. (If you don't have a Bible, no worries! You can use the option below for all translations.)
  • Go to Bible Gateway (or your favorite Bible App) and choose several different translations of the verse to record.
  • If you have extra time, I highly encourage you to read the entire chapter from each verse. It's a great way to understand the context of each verse.

Day 15

GiveGod the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!

Psalm 37:5 tpt

What you'll need

  • A prayer journal - You can pick up a prayer journal just about anywhere. (In fact, you can even use an empty notebook laying around the house.)
  • A Bible and Bible Gateway.
  • Pen and highlighter (to highlight your favorite verses in your Bible).
  • Blank Scripture Cards - Download our Blank Scripture cards from our FREE Community Library.  This is optional but very helpful if you want to have your favorite scriptures handy when you need them most.

Day 30

But first, be concerned about his kingdom and what has his approval. Then all these things will be provided for you.

Matthew 6:33 gw

Hi friend!

My name is Tammy and I'm so excited that you're joining me for this 30-day Scripture Writing Challenge!

I know firsthand the power of spending time in God's Word and how helpful it is to not just read scripture, but to actually study different translations.

Not only does it help us remember scripture, but by using different translations, it also helps us to better understand what the Bible is teaching us.

And who doesn't want to be able to remember scripture (even if it's just paraphrasing it) in those difficult times?

Having the ability to stand on the promises of God and know that He is with us helps us to change our perspective and teaches us that no matter what happens in our life, God is right beside us leading the way!

So let's get started today!
